Apple’s iOS mobile operating system, Apple Watch and its companion apps have all been downloaded more than a billion times in the past year, according to a new report.
The number of Android app downloads, which can be counted in seconds, has risen by about 2 million in the same period.
Android apps on Google Play are now up by about 10 million since 2014, and iOS apps by about 300,000 since last year.
Google Play now has more than 2.5 billion apps.
Apple’s App Store has more 1.2 billion.
Apple Watch has about 800,000.
Apple TV has about 200,000, according the report.
Google is still far behind the iPhone in downloads, with more than 1 billion downloads, but its app store is far more lucrative.
Apple has been downloaded around $4 billion by developers over the past five years, according a recent report from research firm App Annie.
That’s more than five times what Android app developers are making, according Google’s own app store data.
But Apple has also been getting a lot of attention for its App Store.
The company’s App store has been growing rapidly in the last year, becoming one of the most popular places to buy and sell Android apps, as it has done in recent years.
In the latest App Store app rankings, Apple has overtaken Samsung, Google, and Microsoft in total downloads, according with data from App Annie, while Samsung and Microsoft are each tied with two apiece.
