Created by: Adam S. Johnson This tutorial shows you how to create an iOS mobile web application that uses the iOS Mobile Web Apps Capable API to build a web app.
The tutorial is divided into 4 parts: How to get the Capable app to load on your device.
How to load a Capable application on your iOS device.
Why do we need a Capability app to create a mobile app?
Why is this necessary?
How can I get started?
The steps in this tutorial are explained in more detail below.
To use the Capability App, you will need to: Download the Capabilities API from Apple.
Go to the Capacity app, then navigate to the “Developer Tools” menu.
Find the Cap capabilities icon in the left-hand column.
Click the “Add” button.
Under the Cap device tab, add your Cap capabilities and click “Add.”
The Cap capabilities should now appear in the list.
If you get an error when you try to load the Cap devices Cap capabilities, check the “Enable Cap capabilities for your device” checkbox.
When you load the app, you should see the Cap abilities appear in your app.
Once you load a device Cap capability, you can either click on the Cap ability to load it or you can click on its icon in your device list.
To load a mobile version of a Cap capability: On the iOS device, go to the Apple Devices app, and tap the “App” button in the top-right corner.
Click on “App Store.”
Find the app in the “Downloads” section.
Tap the “New” button to launch the Cap capability for your iOS devices.
Select the device you want to use the mobile version on.
Tap “Load Cap capabilities.”
In the Cap and Cap capabilities dialog, click “Save.”
You should now be able to load mobile versions of Cap capabilities.
If not, check to make sure you have the right Cap capabilities installed.
For iOS users, you’ll need to install the Cap accessibility SDK to build the Cap functionality.
To install the accessibility SDK for your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, follow these steps: Download and install the Accessibility SDK for iOS from the iTunes App Store.
Go back to the iTunes store, tap “My apps,” then select “Other apps,” and then “iOS.”
Navigate to the apps you want.
On the left side of the screen, click on “Add,” then click “Browse.”
In this dialog box, select the “Accessible” category.
Add your app’s Cap capabilities to the list of devices that will be accessible to the iOS app.
This will be used to create the Cap APIs.
On the next screen, scroll down to “Capabilities.”
Select “iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.”
Click “Save” to save the Cap features for the devices you selected.
To add a new Cap capability to your app, click the “Edit Capabilities” button next to the existing Cap capabilities in the app.
On your next screen: On your first device, you might be prompted to add an accessibility attribute.
To do so, click in the “+” button, then select the accessibility attribute you want for the Cap feature you are adding.
For example, if you have an “Access-Share-Type” attribute that says “Share a link to an item in the News” and a “Share an image” attribute, the “+Add Access-Share” button will add an “Add Access Sharing” attribute to the current Cap capability.
If the “+Remove Access Sharing…” button is selected, it will remove the existing “Add Cap capabilities” attribute from the Cap component.
On an additional device, there may be more than one Cap capability that you want in the Cap components.
In that case, you could click “Select Cap capability…” to select multiple Cap capabilities from the list and then add an attribute for each one.
To remove an existing Cap capability from the existing capability, just click “Remove Cap capabilities…” to remove the Cap’s existing attribute.
